Required Qualifications

This position requires at least a Master’s degree in Film or Fine Arts or at least a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of Film, Graphic Arts and Design, Motion Media or Photography. Certain courses in ART, COM, MMC and Telecommunications with an emphasis on filmmaking may be acceptable.

Job Description

This is to fill part-time adjunct faculty positions for upcoming semesters on the Ybor City campus.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer applicants with: (1) demonstrated work experience in the qualifying fields and (2) previous teaching experience at a regionally accredited college or university.

Supplemental Job Information

Pay Rate

Adjunct faculty is compensated at $64.67 per instructional point (based on the number of assigned load points). No distinction is made for advanced degrees and pay is calculated based on actual classes taught (the load points). Load points are generated: (1) one lecture or distance learning credit hour generates 10 load points and (2) one laboratory contact hour or one clinical contact hour generates 8 load points.
