This position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of prior related work experience. The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.

Job Description

The position assists the Art Instructor as directed. The duties primarily include providing support and modeling assistance as the subject for paintings, sculptures, and other types of artistic expression for art classes.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer applicants with: (1) previous experience in modeling for an art class (or had an art class with a model so they understand the job of being a model for a class of students), (2) experience modeling for a photographer or an artist, and (3) experience holding a pose for up to 30 minutes (with a break if longer).

Supplemental Job Information

This is an as-needed part-time position on the Ybor City campus. The work schedule will be coordinated by art class instructor. The art model cannot be an HCC student and must be willing to pose for drawing from life unclothed or partially draped.
